When you become a part of a system, it doesn’t matter how much you modernize it, revolt against it, at the end of the day when you are done and time for next the system will return to old self. This is what system is good at it. I will tell you why I am saying this at the end.

But at outset these men are seen as down to earth, simple, calm devoured personality
Nimisha Sajayan acting was so real that I could smell the disgusting smell from leaking of the sink pipe. She just goes from strength to strength with each passing scene. I am not entirely sure about the reason behind lengthy dance sequence at the end but I understood that as her liberation from the way. Her face spoke without uttering single line.
Another thing, can’t say tiny but a nuance that I liked how she washes her hand with liquid after smelling her hand and the follow up scenes of her smelling her hand and the smell refusing to leave her.
In spite of a Hard Hitting subject, The Great Indian kitchen fails to fulfill it’s purpose. The story should have been in theaters surprising and making the Husbands embarrassed when they fulfil their duty by taking the family to the movie theater. By choosing OTT (Neestream) the movie caters to a largely urbanized audience where cooking and cleaning are very much shared or done by the house keeper, which enables a half baked key board dancing by a dude who yesterday washed his plate probably because his wife said fuck off!
Menustrating women and how another women is dismissive of her shows. How well deep rooted patriarchy places one women agains her is neatly done.
